Become an ImpactFest speaker

Let’s build the ImpactFest 2023 program together!

ImpactCity’s yearly flagship event, ImpactFest, will once again take place in The Hague this fall. We believe that you get the best results when working together, which is why we want to co-create the program together with you. Would you like to play a role in the ImpactFest program?

As always, ImpactFest brings together the ecosystem of purpose-driven organisations from all corners of the world. The event provides a platform to present yourself, pitch for investors, and exchange experiences to scale together. In the past years, ImpactFest has become the biggest impact meetup in Europe and is seen as an international “must-attend” event in the world of impact.

The four main themes in the ImpactFest program this year are:

Energy & Oceans

Food & Agriculture

Circular Economy & Resources

Climate Justice

You can contribute to the event in various ways, for example by hosting a session. We strongly encourage organisations to co-create and co-host a session with other parties. After all, the transition towards a sustainable and inclusive economy depends on collaboration.

Hosting a meetup

A meetup is a 90-minute interactive workshop session, hosted by a partner (you). They are held in a classroom-like space with 20-40 participants.

Goal

During the Meetup sessions attendees meet other organisations and explore different perspectives on a specific topic, exchange knowledge or co-create new projects together.

Topic

The meetup relates to one or more of the themes (Energy & Oceans, Food & Agriculture, Climate Justice, Circular Economy & Resources). We invite you to use one of the frameworks (arrows on slide 6 in the meetup guidelines) to enrich and specify your topic even more. It also helps to attract the right participants to your Meetup session.

Hosting a roundabout

A roundabout is a deep-dive dialogue of 45 minutes, hosted by a partner (you). They are held in an open space at different tables with 4-8 participants.

Goal

The purpose of the session is to engage in a discussion on specific topics, indicated by the host. You can consider these Roundabout sessions as intimate and interactive small-scale conversations in which participants will not only learn from the host, but from all participants at the table.

Topic

The roundabout relates to one or more of the themes (Energy & Oceans, Food & Agriculture, Climate Justice, Circular Economy & Resources).
